Hello all :)

It’s once again that time … I am hunting for a new owner for the :iconnew-za: club.
I genuinely don’t have the time to turn this into the club it needs to be, and it doesn’t help to just find new admins and hope that works out.

I need someone who has the time and energy, as well as resources to turn this into a great club again, and guide admins in submissions etc.

Please respond to me only if you are serious via my personal account: =akaena and I will be happy to discuss possible ownership change.

And in case you are wondering, I will also relinquish my admin duties, but I will remain a member!

The club also needs a new subscription, if you are willing to donate, please do – even if it is just for a month, 3 months, or forever.

Original Artist required for interesting CD project, great imagery – South African based!

We are looking for an original artist who would be interested in getting involved in our album artwork for an upcoming release.
We have a specific time schedule, with a deadline for all artwork at the end of April, so we will need an individual who is enthusiastic and can realistically take on this mini project in this timeframe.
We will need both a cover, booklet and CD design. Specifics will be given on enquiry.
Being in the underground independent music industry, we are on a very tight budget but can definitely offer payment for the work which can be discussed on further enquiry. We hope to find an artist who can be understanding of the setup of the music scene, but be excited to work on a truly unique and exciting project with for an amazing debut release and band.
The artwork required will need to be very visual and character based with a specific concept, which we would elaborate on further with any queries. We lean towards character sketches with an alternative twist. The concept is moderately macabre in nature, but with a tongue in cheek bright attitude that needs to be juxtaposed alongside the darker imagery. Rainbows and Broken Teeth, balloons and serial killers etc. We are open to creativity and out of the box expression.
